James E. Quill

Principle, Professional Engineer

Educated at Northeastern University in Boston, Mass., with a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, Jim was managing multi-million-dollar property and construction projects for Pitney Bowes before founding the Quill Group in 1988.

Following his work with Pitney Bowes, he became the Principle for both Atlantic Consulting & Engineering and Fairfield Testing Labs in 1988. He has supervised these multi-disciplined firms in HVAC, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical and civil projects as well as the testing and inspection of soil, concrete, masonry, structural steel and various other subsurface and environmental projects.

In 2003 he added the Fuller Engineering & Land Surveying Firm to The Quill Group to provide start-to-finish project engineering for his clients. James is registered as a professional engineer in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Virginia and Georgia.

He belongs to the following organizations:

Helene Boris

Manager, Marketing & Business Development

A recent addition to the Quill Group staff, Helene has fifteen years of diversified marketing, promotional and sales experience with engineering, construction and development companies in the New York / Connecticut region. She is responsible for new contract procurement within public and private sectors, client and networking event management, press releases, presentations, promotional materials and web site(s) development and maintenance. Helene graduated from The State University of NY at Oswego with a BA in Communications.
